My job is to help you tell the story you want to tell with clarity, focus, and impact. Every project gets my full attention, my experience, and my honest feedback. AI tools exist, but they cannot understand your story the way another writer can. When you trust your manuscript to me, you get my eyes on every page. I do not run your work through AI tools or hand it off to anyone else. Every edit, every comment, and every suggestion comes from me. This is what I do, and I take it very seriously.
AI can check grammar. I check for meaning. I pay attention to your voice, your characters, and the story you are trying to tell. My job is to make your words stronger without turning them into something they are not.

Substantive Editing
$100 per 10K words
2nd round edits (if previously seen by EATC) $85 per 10K words
3rd round edits (if previously seen by EATC) $70 per 10K words
Copy Editing
$80 per 10K words
2nd round (if previously seen by EATC) $350 <50K words $500 50K-100K words $700 >100K
3rd round (if previously seen by EATC) $250 <50K words $400 50K-100K words $600 >100K
Proofreading
$2.50 per page @14pt font
2nd round and beyond (if previously seen by EATC) $1.50 per page @14pt font
Payment
20% of the estimated cost at the time of booking to hold your dates (this is transferable, but not refundable)
$100 is due to the editor at delivery of the manuscript (date edits are due to begin)
Remainder due at completion (date edits are due to the client)
Delivery to the author upon payment remittance.
Rush Order
Add $100 for a 2-week turnaround on manuscripts less than 90K words.
Add $250 for a 1-week turnaround on manuscripts less than 90K words
Add $450 for any manuscript longer than 90K, which can only be completed in a 2-3 week turnaround
